How to use Launch X431 IMMO Plus or X431 IMMO Elite for the first time?
You need to register an account, activate the device with SN and activation code, and update the related car software. Check the details below.
01 Set up Network
X431 IMMO Plus and IMMO Elite have built-in Wi-Fi that can be used to get online. Once you’re online, you can register your tool, surf the Internet, get apps, send email, launch the remote diagnosis, and check for software updates etc.
Operation guide:
1. On the home screen, tap Settings -> Network & Internet -> WLAN.
2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to ON, the X431 IMMO tablet starts searching for available wireless networks.
3. Select a wireless network,
If the chosen network is open, the tablet will connect automatically.
If the selected network is encrypted, a network password will need to be entered.
4. When Connected appears, it indicates the Wi-Fi connection is complete.
Note: When Wi-Fi is not required, this should be disabled to conserve battery power.
02 Download X431 IMMO Plus/Elite Application
Tap the icons of the home page (marked in the figure below) to enter diagnostic application download and installation guidelines.
Input the serial number of your X431 IMMO Plus Key Programmer or X431 IMMO Elite Key Programmer (which can be found from the password envelope)
Click OK to start downloading, follow the prompts to install the application
After installation is completed, click “Open the application”
03 Register and Activate X431 IMMO Tablet
Click “Login” on the main menu
There are four options on the page: New Registration, Login, Technician login and Retrieve password.
Option 1: New Registration
If you are a new user, please select this option to enter the sign-up page
Fill in the information in each field incl. username, password, E-mail (Items with * must be filled).
After inputting, tap “Register”
After register successfully, follow the prompt to input the 12-digit Product Serial Number and 8-digit Activation Code (can be obtained from the password envelope), and then tap Activate.
Note:
After the registration is successfully complete, the wireless communication between the tablet and the VCI device is automatically established and user has no need to configure it again.
Option 2: Login
If you have registered to be a member, login the system directly.
Option 3: Technician login
If you have created a sub-account or bound an existing account to the tool, please select this option to login the system.
Option 4: Retrieve password
In case you forgot password, please select this option to reset a new password.
04 Update X-431 IMMO Plus/X-431 IMMO Elite
After activating the device successfully, it will prompt you to update the software.
Tap “Update immediately”
The Car model tab displays a list of vehicle diagnostic software.
If you need to update the IMMO&IMMO PROG software, tap the IMMO tab.
Choose the software you need or select all, and tap Update to start downloading. Once download is finished, the software packages will be installed automatically.
