If you forgot your Launch X431 login password, you can reset the password by yourself on the device. Besides, you can also change the registered/bound Email if you need.

PART I
Retrieve Launch X431 Password
- Requirements:
You must have your Launch X431 serial number, which can be found on the back of your Launch X431 Tab and on the side of your Launch X431 DBSCAR Bluetooth.
You must have the right model of Launch X431 App. Download the correct apk on x431.com
- Operation guide:
1. Make sure the WiFi is connected
In the home menu, select “Settings”
Select “Network & Internet”
Click “Use WLAN” and connect with an available WiFi
2. Reset password
Open the Launch X431 App
Tap “Login” in the upper right corner
Select “Retrieve Password”
Input your device serial number, and the user name and registered email will be automatically obtained
Press “Get Verification Code by Email”
Copy the verification code from your registered Email
Then paste it in the corresponding place
Input the new password and confirm
Click “Reset password”
Note:
The password length is 8-20 characters, contains numbers and characters, and cannot contain sensitive works, cannot be consistent with the user name.
Now the password is reset successfully.
Login with your username and the new password, then your X431 tool can be used normally.

Change Bound/Registered Email
Login X431 App
Go to User Info>> Profile>> Email
Fill in the new Email address, and hit “BIND EMAIL”
Obtain the verification code from your new email address
Paste the code in the corresponding place on the X431 tablet
Then the bound email has been changed.
