Sometimes, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT63S may not run smoothly and there is a misfiring problem. The possible cause is not always spark plugs. It can also be an injector problem. Launch X431 CRP919EBT can be used to scan the vehicle and read the live data to check if there is something wrong with the injector, if yes, replace the injector and then code with CRP919EBT scanner to fix this problem.

Operation guide:
Step 1: Scan AMG GT63S car
Connect the Launch DBScar VII VCI Connector and the vehicle via diagnostic cable, and connect to X431 CRP919EBT via Bluetooth or WiFi
Start the car so that have a good battery to operate
Select Intelligent Diagnose to detect the vehicle info automatically
Identify the vehicle info successfully, and the engine check light flashes on the dashboard.
Select Basic Version>> Health Report to scan the full system
This car has a lot of modules and needs to take some time to scan. Launch CRP919E BT goes really fast.
Two fault codes have been detected on the engine ECU after scanning:
- P030022 Combustion misfiring- the signal amplitude is greater than the maximum amplitude
- P030400 Combustion misfiring of cylinder 4
It doesn’t mean the spark plug is bad or the coil is not. We need to read the live data and check if the engine is running.
Enter the ME-Motor Electronics
Select Read Data Stream>> Engine Output-Smooth Running of Combustion Engine>> Select All
Check the injectors first of all, it can be also an injector problem not always spark plugs.
Pay attention to cylinder 4, the value is very huge. Check the value for the injectors. This is like almost melting the cylinder inside the car if you don’t replace it. The values should be close to zero.
In this case, injector 4 should be replaced the first time to see if the problem goes from it. Don’t disassemble the engine!
Step 2: Replace the injector
Stop the car, and use a new injector such as the Bosch brand to replace the old one.
The injector code is very important. There are a lot of numbers on the injector. The first line is the Mercedes number, and the injector code is under it (i.e. 31306), it will be used to code the injector with Launch CRP919E BT diagnostic tool after replacing.
Step 3: Code the injector
Select Special Function>> Configuration>> Manual Setting>> Injector Injection quantity adjustment>> 31306 (Injector code)
Input the new value according to the on-screen prompt
The fault code also needs to be cleared before coding the injector with Launch X431 CRP919E BT OBD2 Scanner.
Finally, start the car to check if it can work normally.
