Launch TPMS 5011 V2 Replace 2023 BENZ AMG GT TPMS Sensor

Need to replace a faulty TPMS sensor on a 2023 Mercedes‑AMG GT? This guide walks you through the entire process using Launch Creader TPMS 5011 V2.

TPMS 5011 V2= TPMS 511S V2

Both support the same functions, the main difference is that 5011 V2 is the e-commerce version.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1.Enter the TPMS menu

From the main menu of Launch TPMS 5011 V2 Tool, tap [TPMS].

2.Select the correct vehicle model

Navigate to:

MERCEDES → AMG GT → 2019/01-2024/12 (433MHz) [X290][A0009052102]

3.Activate all four sensors

Choose [Active] to test each wheel sensor.

4.Identify the faulty sensor

FR, RR, and RL activate successfully.

FL fails to activate → FL sensor is confirmed damaged.

5.Remove the failed sensor & start learning

Remove the damaged FL sensor.

Select [Learning] and check the sensor part number or print number under the menu.

Proceed only if one of them matches.

Note: If it’s an original sensor, verify it. If it’s a different brand replacement, move to the next step.

6.Program the new sensor

Click [Programming] and choose [Auto].

Alternative options: You can also select [Manual] to enter the original sensor ID, or [Copy by OBD] to copy it.

→ Important: If you use these methods and the dashboard doesn’t show pressure values, you’ll still need the Mercedes learning method.

Wait for programming to complete.

7.Install & inflate

Install the programmed Launch sensor into the FL wheel and inflate to standard pressure.

8.Activate the new sensor

Choose [Active] again for the FL wheel position.

9.Perform OBD relearning

Click [Learning] → [OBD Relearn].

After successful learning, continue with the operation.

10.Confirm success

The tire pressure light on the dashboard will turn off.

On most Mercedes models, the pressure values display normally.

What if the pressure still doesn‘t show or the light stays on?

Don’t worry – simply perform a road test:
