LAUNCH released new IMMO and ECU software updates on October 21, 2026. The latest release expands key programming, immobilizer, ECU reading and writing, and module data handling functions across supported X431 devices.
The update includes general vehicle-specific software improvements for the X431 series, additional IMMO functions and ECU clone functions requiring LAUNCH X431 X-PROG5 Programmer (PROG5/G5) .

Part 1: X431 IMMO Software Updates
1. General Updates for the X431 Series
The following vehicle-specific software updates add new key matching, immobilizer, and related service functions.
Nissan V11.26
The update adds the following functions for the 2025 Nissan Kicks:
• IMMO password reading by chip removal
• Key matching
• Body control module (HFM) replacement
MG (SAIC) V10.30
New functions include:
• Key matching for MG4X
• Key matching, Alcohol interlock deactivation & activation for MG S6 EV
JAC V10.50
Key matching support has been added for the following vehicles:
• JAC Refine RF8
• JAC Refine RH8 PHEV
• JAC Yiwei 3
• JAC QX PHEV
• JAC Xingrui Series 7
• JAC T8 PRO pickup
• JAC T9 EV pickup
Saab V10.20
The new software adds these functions for supported Saab models:
• Key matching for the Saab 9-2
• Key adding and all-keys-lost matching for Saab 9-7
• IMMO matching for Saab 9-3, Saab 9-5 (1997–2010), and Saab 9-5 Sport (2003–2012)

Mercedes-Benz V10.80
The Mercedes-Benz software update introduces additional functions for supported immobilizer, key, and transmission systems:
• Key disable function for fourth-generation Mercedes-Benz IMMO
• All-keys-lost password calculation and key matching for W463 (CAN)
• Key frequency detection
• Read and erase functions for third-generation transmission control units (TCUs)
• Key adding, all-keys-lost matching, and password reading for W230 locks using the CHIP method
• All-keys-lost matching and password reading for 215K / 220K using the CHIP method
• Lock matching key reading via the CHIP method
Land Rover Software V10.55
For selected Land Rover vehicles, the update adds mechanical key chip-out MCU file reading and write-start functionality for:
• Discovery 3 (2004–2009)
• Range Rover (2006–2009)

XPROG5 IMMO Software V12.30
Version 12.30 introduces new functions for supported vehicle keys, engine ECUs, and body control modules:
• Wireless dealer-key generation for Volkswagen 5C/5D.
• BOOT-mode engine ECU read/write for Magneti Marelli 4DF, 4GF, 4GV, and 4SF.
• BENCH-mode read/write for Magneti Marelli engine ECUs 4AF, 6JF, 6J0, 7GF, 8F3, 9GV, and 10GF.
• Jaguar BCM data read/write with NXP MC9S12XET256.
• Jeep/Ford BCM data read/write with Renesas R7F701056.
Part 2: X431 ECU Software Updates
X431 ECU Clone Software V10.76
The latest X431 ECU Clone software adds three functions for supported ECU applications:
• 8F3 KWP protocol: Adds a protocol reset function.
• Simos18.1: Adds anti-theft data cloning.
• Simos18.7: Adds BOOT-mode data reading and writing.
