It has been tested and verified that Citroen Bosch MED17.4.4 ECU can be cloned by Launch X431 ECU & TCU Programmer on bench successfully.
Operation guide:
Step 1: Back Up Original MED17.4.4 ECU Data
1.Connect X431 ECU Programmer and computer
2.Open X-431 ECU &TCU Programmer software
Input “med17.4.4” to select Citroen C4 Grand Picasso MED17.4.4_TC1793
3.Select “BENCH” connection type
4.Check the direct connection of diagram
5.Follow the diagram to connect X-431 ECU Programmer and the original Bosch MED17.4.4 ECU correctly
6.Read chip ID-OK
7.Read and save EEPROM data-OK
8.Read and save Flash data-OK
9.Disconnect
Step 2: Back Up New MED17.4.4 ECU Data
Use the same method to connect new MED17.4.4 ECU and X431 ECU&TCU Programmer
Then read and save EEPROM and Flash data as well
Step 3: Write Original ECU Data to New One
Load the original ECU EEPROM and FLASH data and write into the new ECU separately
Finally disconnect ECU
All are successful.
