Mercedes-Benz E200 CGI 2011 ECM programming and SCN coding were successfully completed using the LAUNCH X431 PAD V Elite.
Precondition:
- Good Wi-Fi Signal or Network Cable
- Turn off all the electrical components of the car
- Apply a battery stabilizer to keep the voltage between 13V and 14V
- Backup or record the car’s original data
- Charge the device to over 80%
Operation guide:
Step 1: Access to the control module
Tap “Local Diagnose” on the main menu
Select European>> MERCEDES-BENZ>> Mercedes-Benz Diagnostic Software V49.95>> Automatically Search
Confirm the vehicle info (VIN code, and car model, etc)
Switch on ignition
Step 2: Program control unit
Select Control Unit Programming>> Control Unit Programming (AUTOMATIC)
Click “YES” to reprogram and upgrade the existing ECU
Connect the diagnostic unit to network
Record of coding data in a file
Fulfill the on-screen conditions, and click “OK” to continue
Pay attention to the prompt and click “YES” to perform control unit
Wait a while until the programming is complete
After the control unit programming, follow the prompt to perform SCN coding
Done!
