Access is region-specific and sold as a package.
For North American (USA, Canada, Mexico) Users:
Purchase an FCA AutoAuth license directly on the official AutoAuth website and register your CRP919X/E BT device.
Important: Registration requires a North American IP address. The AutoAuth portal for North American IPs will be phased out soon. Thereafter, users must purchase the non-European gateway package ($899).
For European Users:
Purchase “SGW Function License (European region only)” package in the Mall ($1,151). This package includes:
- FCA & Maserati gateway (1 year)
- Mercedes-Benz gateway (1 year)
- Renault & Dacia (20 connections)
- VAG SFD (1 year)
For Users Outside North America & Europe:
The FCA SGW gateway is available via a separate purchase portal for $329.
- VAG SGW License
VAG SFD authorization is available for individual purchase in some regions (e.g., parts of Asia) or as part of the European package.
- For European Users: Purchase “European SGW Function License” package ($1,151 + tax).
- For Non-European Users: Purchase “European SGW Function License” package ($899 + tax).
- Renault/Dacia SGW License
- For European Users: Purchase “European SGW Function License” package ($1,151 + tax).
- For Non-European Users: Purchase “European SGW Function License” package ($899 + tax).
- Mercedes-Benz Gateway License
Mercedes-Benz gateway access cannot be purchased individually. It is only available as part of “European SGW Function License” package ($1,151).
Crucial Restriction:
This license cannot be activated on devices registered to non-European users.
Important Notices & Requirements
- Device Compatibility: Available purchase options may vary. Check your specific device’s Mall section.
- Missing Authorization: If the SGW authorization option does not appear on your CRP919EBT/XBT or Pro series device, contact LAUNCH technical support with your device serial number for assistance.
- Validity Period: All gateway authorizations are valid for one year only and require renewal upon expiration.
- Software Validity: Unlocking a security gateway requires the device’s related diagnostic software subscription to be active and within its validity period.
- Protocol Requirement (Critical): Newer Renault and Mercedes models use the DOIP protocol. Gateway access for these models requires a compatible DOIP interface, such as a SmartBox or a DBScar VII+ DOIP cable. Do not purchase Renault or Mercedes gateway licenses if your device setup does not support DOIP.
