How to Receive Orders by Launch SmartLink B?

How to efficiently receive the remote diagnosis orders as a technician by the Launch SmartLink B on SmartLink Service Platform? Check the step-by-step guide below.

 

Before using the Smartlink B, you need to buy Smartlink B annual renew card (valid for 1 year).

 

Step 1: Register a SmartLink account

Visit https://smartlink.x431.com/login on PC

Click “Register now”

Select “Service provider”

Fill in the username, Email address, verification code, and password to complete the registration.

 

Step 2: Activate Device

After registration, back to the Login page

Select “Service provider”

Log in with the username and password

Select “Management” from the left menu and click “Activate Device”

Then click “Activate Device” on the right

Input the SN and activation code which can be found on the envelope

Click “OK” to activate

 

Step 3: Receive orders

There are three order receiving scenarios.

Click “My appointment”

  • The first scenario is client-specific requests.

Click “View details”

If a client specifically requests your service, their request will appear in your service list.

Select the request and click “Create remote connection”

And remind the client to connect their Launch SmartLink C to the vehicle’s OBD port

Wait for the devices to connect successfully.

 

  • The second scenario is pre-prepared clients.

When clients have already connected their SmartLink C to the vehicle’s OBD port, they will receive a 6-digit Link Code.

Click “View details” and click “Create remote connection” to establish a connection

Wait for confirmation before proceeding.

 

  • The third scenario is exploring the Public demands.

Click “Public demands” and “View details”

You will find client requests from all over the place.

Browse through the list to pick orders that interest you, and negotiate the service details and fees with clients.

Once agree, click “Create remote connections”, and the client will connect their SmartLink C, and you can begin the remote diagnostic process.

Once the Launch SmartLink C V2.0 and SmartLink B are connected, you can use specialized diagnostic software with Launch X431 or other diagnostic tools to perform accurate diagnostics and repairs remotely.

After completing the task, don’t forget to mark the job as finished on the platform.
