How to use Launch X431 PAD5 LINK HD to do DPF regeneration?
Two operation paths are available for this process. Here take ISUZU as an example to show the operation guide.
X431 PAD5 LINK HD= X431 PAD V Elite with SmartLink C and Launch Heavy Duty Truck Software Authorization and Adapters Package
Path 1: by Service Function
Select Service Function>> DPF Regen
Read the DPF Regen instruction and click “TO DIAGNOSE”
Select Isuzu>> HD_ISUZU diagnostic software V16.61>> OK
Select Global (Except North American)>> Engine>> 4HK1>> DPD Regeneration>> DPD Forced Regenerate
Ensure the reset DPD Regeneration data was carried out
Functions only during engine run! Click “OK”
Do not turn off scan tool on the Regeneration screen of DPD. Click “Yes” to perform selected function
Path 2: by Local diagnosis
Select Local Diagnosis>> Isuzu>> HD_ISUZU diagnostic software V16.61>> OK
Select Truck>> Global (Except North American)>> VIN Search>> Read>> OK
Select Australia 2
Confirm the vehicle info
Select 4JJ1-TC
Confirm the part number, software version, hardware part number, VIN, etc
Select Actuation Test>> DPD Regeneration
Ensure the reset DPD Regeneration data was carried out
Check the vehicle condition
Functions only during engine run! Click “NEXT”
Do not turn off scan tool on the Regeneration screen of DPD. Click “Yes” to perform selected function
Select DPD Forced Regenerate
Wait for the program to run successfully
Done!
