This post will guide you how to program a new key to a Peugeot 3008 using Launch X431 IMMO Plus/IMMO Elite/IMMO PRO with new X431 X-PROG5 key programmer.
Step 1: Generate Remote
Connect Launch X431 X-PROG5 to X431 IMMO Series tablet and Peugeot vehicle using the corresponding cables
Navigate to: Vehicle Remote-> Peugeot-> All remote-> 3008 (2016+) Remote FSK ID4A
Put the key on the detection area of X431 X-PROG5
Click “Generate” and wait the remote is burned successfully
Step 2: Read Anti-Theft Password
Navigate to: PEUGEOT-> PEUGEOT V10.22-> Anti-theft Password Reading-> All Lost Anti-theft Password Reading-> BSI-> Automatic Scan
Note:
• BSI Control unit voltage too low is likely to cause function failure. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
• Internet is needed to perform this function. Make sure the device has normal access on WIFI connection.
Click “OK” to continue
Press the double-flash switch, and click “OK”
[Wiper start], [headlamp ON] are normal when performing this function. If you mind it, plugging out fuse at relative position will prevent it from starting.
Click “OK” to continue
Write down the read anti-theft password and use it for a minute
Step 3: Match Anti-Theft Key
Back to PEUGEOT menu, and select Anti-Theft Key Matching
Confirm the VIN and car model info
Select “Automatic Scan”
Confirm the VIN, mode, car model and system No. info
Select “Smart Key System”
Press the double-flash switch, and click “OK”
Note:
- All Keys Will Be Cleared After This Function Is Performed. Re-matching Is Required To Use The Keys. To Perform The Function, Get All Keys Ready.
Click “OK” to continue
Enter 4-digit confidential code
It will verify if the password is correct
Enter the key number to be learnt (e.g.2)
Insert the smart key to be matched into the smart key card slot
(Note: If you have the original car key, you must match the original car key before matching the new key, otherwise, the new key may lack the remote control and intelligent functions), click “OK” when the operation is completed.
The new key matching is completed.
The key number is 2 now.
Take out the smart key, and then insert the next smart key
Start the car after each smart card is operated as follows:
Insert the smart card into the slot, turn on the ignition and wait for 3 seconds before turning off it, and take out the smart card and press the lock key for 5 seconds.
Peugeot 3008 new key is programmed by X431 IMMO Plus/Elite/Pro successfully
