How to use Launch X431 PAD V Elite to perform Steering Angle Sensor Calibration on Beiqi Foton Pickup Tunland?

Simple guide:
1. Choose FOTON > PICKUP > TUNLAND > System Selection > Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) > Bosch ESP (ESP9) > Read DTCs
2. Choose FOTON > PICKUP > TUNLAND > System Selection > Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) > Bosch ESP (ESP9) > Special Functions > SAS Sensor Calibration
3. Click [Yes] to calibrate. The steering wheel must remain in the center position.
4. Choose FOTON > PICKUP > TUNLAND > System Selection > Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) > Bosch ESP (ESP9) > Special Functions > Clear DTCs
5. After DTC clearing, the ESP lamp on the instrument panel goes out, indicating that the calibration is successful by X431 PAD V (X431 PAD5).
When to perform SAS calibration?
- The SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) calibration function needs to be performed when one of the following situations occurs:
- The DTC “C106600: Steering angle sensor calibration error”
- The SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) is replaced.
- The ignition switch is ON.
- The vehicle must be parked on a level surface.
- The vehicle is in a straight-ahead status. The tires and steering wheel are straightened at the same time.
- After the calibration, enter the ABS/ESP system to clear DTCs.
- After the SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) calibration is completed, a test drive must be carried out by passing a 90° curve (left or right turn) at speeds of 10km/h, 20km/h, 30km/h, and 40km/h respectively, or changing lanes on an open road in a serpentine manner.
