How to use Launch Creader Elite 2.0 BBA to do coding on BMW Daytime Running Lights?
Use the coding/program option in the [Diagnose] function to personalize the BMW car, select the system to back up and restore the vehicle coding data, and then select daytime running lights to do coding.
Detailed instruction:
Connect Creader Elite 2.0 BBA scanner to the BMW vehicle via the OBD cable
Power on the device and connect to a WiFi with a good signal
Update the BMW diagnostic software to V51.26 or a later version
Go to the “Diagnose” function on the main menu
Select BMW>> BMW Diagnostic Software (V51.26)>> Automatically Search
Detect the BMW vehicle info, confirm it, and then continue
Select Coding/Program>> Personalization and confirm the vehicle info.
Test CIC (Car Information Computer)
- Click on “Backup the vehicle coding data for current system” and input the saved file name
- Click on “Restore the backup vehicle coding data” and select the vehicle coding data just saved to recover
- Click on “Function selection” and select “Daytime Running Lights (Angel Eyes) Option” and “Standard (02)”
Recoding has been completed
Test CAS (Car Access System- CAS/FEM/BDC)
Use the same method as CIC coding to back up and restore vehicle coding data, and then recode the Daytime Running Lights (Angel Eyes).
