Both support one year software free update. When the free subscription has expired, you need to buy an extra one year software subscription. Otherwise, the new updates will be restricted to download.

One-Year Update Activation Process:
1.After completing your order, submit us the serial number of your LAUNCH X431 tool.
2.We will open one year update authorization and offer the activation code (8-digit password) to you.
3.It takes 1-2 working days to complete online, no need shipping.
4.After getting the activation code, you will see the activation interface in your X-PRGO3 PC Adapter software or X-431 ECU & TCU Programmer software.
5.Input the serial number and activation code directly, and click “Activate” to complete the activation process.
