Launch X431 PRO3 ACE Active Test & Special Function on 2015 Honda Accord

Today we’ll walk through the Active Test & Special Functions on the 2015 Honda Accord Sport by Launch X431 PRO3 ACE. This scan tool has the topology map. We will do a smart detection to scan what modules are on the car and that way we won’t have to worry about clicking on modules that are not on the car.

We’re going into some important modules.

1.PGM-FI/Diesel (Engine System)

Actuation test

Pay attention to the intelligent light prompt:

When executing the following functions, PHEV, FHEV and RLX Hybrid vehicles must be put into maintenance mode for the engine to run. Refer to the service manual for detailed instructions or Service Function-> Put into maintenance mode.

Support EVAP test, VTECT test, ETCs (TAC) test, A/C Clutch, VTC test, etc.

Special function

Support: Write VIN, replace ECM/PCM, Crank (CKP) pattern, throttle learning, readiness codes, shipping mode release, consumption current history, 2nd battery cancellation reset

2.AT (Automatic Transmission)

Actuation test

Support Shift lock solenoid test, Shift SOL B, Shift SOL O/P, CVT Oil Pressure Learning Value Reset

Note: doesn’t support special function.

3.ABS (Anti-lock braking system)

Actuation test

Support Left and right front solenoid, left and right rear solenoid, left and right front VSA, left and right rear VSA, modulator bleed, and ESS activation
