What is the difference between Launch X431 PRO5 SmartLink and X431 PRO3S+ Smartlink HD?
1.Hardware configuration
Both support the same hardware configuration.
The SmartLink VCIs look the same, but have different configuration.
Pro3s+ Smartlink HD VCI, you don’t need to purchase truck module separately, it supports both cars and heavy duty trucks.
Pro5 smartlink only supports cars, needs extra purchase of HD Truck Software Authorization (License) and Adapters Package.
2.Function
Launch X431 Pro5 Smartlink supports built-in BMW and Benz online programming, Pro3s+ does not.
Pro5 Smartlink can do Super remote diagnosis function, while PRO3S+ SmartLink HD does not support.
Other functions are the same.
