The Citroen Bosch MED17.4.4 ECU can be cloned on bench using Launch X431 X-Prog3 with PC Adapter.
Quick Step-by-Step Guide:
1.Original ECU Backup:
oConnect X431 X-PROG3 + PC Adapter to your PC and launch the software.
oSearch med17.4.4 and select Citroen C4 Grand Picasso MED17.4.4_TC1793
oSelect BENCH mode and review the wiring diagram
oWire the original Bosch MED17.4.4 ECU according to the diagram
oRead Chip ID, then read and save the original EEPROM and Flash files
Disconnect the ECU
2.Donor ECU Backup:
oWire the replacement MED17.4.4 ECU using the same diagram. Read and back up its EEPROM and Flash data
3.Data Writing:
oLoad the original EEPROM and Flash files into the software, write them separately to the replacement ECU, and disconnect
Process completed successfully!
