Step 1: Diagnostic Fault Isolation
1.Power on Launch TPMS 5011 V2, select TPMS, and navigate to Buick.
2.Select Envision -> 2016/01-2017/12 (315MHz) [13598772]
(Note: If activation fails, test alternative menu indexes under the same year).
3.Select Active and trigger all four wheels sequentially.
4.Result: Front Right (FR), Rear Right (RR), and Rear Left (RL) respond normally. Front Left (FL) emits no signal, confirming a dead sensor battery requiring replacement
Step 2: Sensor Programming
1.Dismount the depleted factory sensor from the FL wheel.
2.Access Learning on the scanner to confirm part number compatibility
3.Enter Programming and choose Auto to generate a new sensor ID

4.Place the Launch tool near the blank sensor until data transfer reaches 100%.
Step 3: Installation & Sensor Excitation
1.Install the programmed Launch sensor into the FL wheel assembly and inflate tire to OEM spec
2.Select Active on the tool to trigger the new FL sensor and verify data broadcasting
Step 4: OBD Relearn & Drive Calibration
1.Enter Learning, select OBD Relearn, and complete on-screen prompts
2.Once learned, the dash warning light will extinguish and live pressure data will show on the cluster. If pressure data remains blank or the warning light stays on, conduct a 15-minute road test at 30 km/h (19 mph) or higher to complete auto-calibration
