Customer Problem:
I used Launch X431 Pro5 to test my BMW X5, but there was only coding function but no programming. Was it not supported?

The online programming is not opened. Please follow the step-by-step guide below to configure.
- Connect the X-431 Pro5 to a Computer
Use a USB cable to connect the device to a computer.
Select “Media Device (MTP)” as the USB connection method.
- Locate the Configuration File
Navigate to the following directory on the X431 Pro5:
i.e. Lenovo TAB M10 FHD Rel
Internal Shared Storage -> cnlaunch -> X431Pro5 -> assets
Find the file named StdCfg.ini.
- Modify the Configuration File
Open StdCfg.ini with a text editor.
Locate the following two fields:
- OnlineFlash=0
- Flash=0
The default value is 0, indicating that the diagnostic software does not support online programming.
Change both values from 0 to 1:
- OnlineFlash=1
- Flash=1
Save the file without altering any other content or line numbers.
- Verify & Use Online Programming
After saving, confirm the values are updated.
The online programming function will now be enabled on the Launch X431 Pro5 SmartLink or X431 Pro5 Smartbox (old).
Important Notes:

Benz/BMW online programming is restricted in the following regions:
- Spain
- Portugal
- Canada
Devices in other regions can follow this method for activation.
Users can use a VPN connection to enable the online programming function for Spain, Portugal, and North America/Canada, but this is at your own risk. If any step fails, stop the process immediately.
