Test process:
Connect X431 SmartLink C 2.0 to the vehicle diagnostic OBD port, and connect to X431 PRO3S+ Scan Tool via WiFi
Open X-431 HD APP
Go to the “Local Diagnosis” function
Select “Scania” and confirm the Scania diagnostic software (V15.70)
Click “OK” to continue
Connecting the VCI in WiFi mode…
Select CAN Automatic Identification>> System Scan for a full vehicle checkup
Wait a while…
Select VIS>> ENTER
Read the vehicle info (Scania Part number, software number, SN, VIN, hardware number)
Click “OK”
Select Actuation Test>> Windscreen Wipers, Low Speed
Pay attention to the test conditions on the screen
During actuation, the engine RPM and vehicle speed must be 0. If the engine RPM and vehicle speed are recorded or the signal is lost, actuation is impossible.
Select “On” and the value shows “On”.
Select “Off” and the value shows “Off”.
Observe wiper condition
When clicking “On”, the windscreen wipers start working.
When clicking “Off”, the windscreen wipers stop working.
