Thinkcar Thinkdiag2 is newly released at LaunchX431.fr. It’s the upgraded version of Thinkdiag. In addition to a different appearance, some new features are added to Thinkdiag 2.
Similarities:
1. Both OBD2 scanners work with the exclusive APP:
- ThinkDiag+ APP is for Android smartphone
- ThinkDiag APP is for IOS smartphone
2. Both support full system diagnosis, 15 reset functions, etc for more than 100 car brands with KWP2000, CAN, IOS, UDS and VPW & PWM protocols.
3. Both are available in 10 languages and 1 year free update.
Differences:
Thinkcar Thinkdiag 2 is better than Thinkdiag OBD2 scanner in the following aspects.
1. Have built-in CAN FD protocol;
2. Support the latest GM vehicles manufactured after 2020;
3. Thinkdiag 2 is equipped with 5.0 Bluetooth, but Thinkdiag is equipped with 4.2 Bluetooth;
4. Thinkdiag2 comes with double side indicators, an upgraded soft rubber sleeve, and an OBD2 cable, but Thinkcar ThinkDiag only comes with an OBD2 Unit.
5. The one year software update subscription cost is different. €143.00/year is for ThinkDiag2 OBD2 scanner, and €67.00/year is for ThinkDiag OBD2 scanner.
